Fernando Torres has been stunning the fans that adored him while he was a player. His love for boxing had never been revealed until recent developments. He had also broken the internet earlier this year with the photo of his body transformation.
Torres played for over two decades before retiring from football in Japan in 2019. He retired at the end of the 2018/19 campaign where he scored three goals in 21 games. The Spaniard had been at boyhood club Atletico Madrid until 2018.
Fernando Torres was once regarded as one of the best strikers in world football especially during his time on Merseyside with the Reds and he had to retire after his scoring returns diminished drastically in Japan.
He averaged a goal in almost two games at Liverpool and that rate had diminished to a goal in seven games by the time he was in Japan.
Fernando Torres enjoyed the best spell of his career at Premier League giants Liverpool whom he joined from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2007. He had come through the ranks at the Spanish capital club to establish himself in the first team before leaving for English football. During his time at Liverpool, Torres scored 81 goals in 142 games before signing for Chelsea in January 2011 in a controversial move worth £50m. He struggled to recover his Liverpool form for the rest of his career once he moved to Chelsea.
